SMS Terms.

These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by Digital Six Laboratories Inc. (“D6 Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through the Whisker.io Alerts program. By opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

Whisker.io is a cloud SCADA platform that water and wastewater systems use to monitor and control their sites, such as lift stations, pump stations, wells, water towers, and treatment plants. The Whisker.io Alerts program sends text messages to operators and other personnel so they know when something at a site needs attention.

Messages may include:

• Alarm notifications, such as high or low levels, pump failures, power loss, and communication loss
• Alarm acknowledgement and return-to-normal notices
• Account and service notifications related to your Whisker.io access

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in when you enter your mobile phone number in your Whisker.io user profile or alert contact settings and choose to receive text message alerts. A Whisker.io administrator for your organization may also add your mobile number as an alert contact, with your permission. You will receive text messages only for the alarms and notifications assigned to you.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the alarms your organization configures and how often those conditions occur at your sites.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan. D6 Labs does not charge you for text messages. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages unless you opt in again. You can also turn off text message alerts in your Whisker.io alert contact settings, or ask your organization’s Whisker.io administrator or D6 Labs support to remove your number.

If you opt out, you will no longer receive alarms by text message. Make sure your organization has another way to reach you, such as email or voice alerts, so alarms are not missed.

7. Delivery and Carriers

Text messages are delivered by wireless carriers, and delivery is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed or not delivered because of carrier outages, coverage, your device settings, or other factors outside our control. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text message alerts are one part of your alarm notification setup. We recommend configuring more than one alert method and more than one contact for critical alarms.

8. Privacy

We use your mobile phone number only to send the messages described in these terms and to provide the Whisker.io service. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
